Join Cody McElligott of Scenic City Swing at Broad Street Ballroom for a West Coast Swing class focused on actually learning to dance—not simply memorizing and performing steps.

Cody’s teaching methodology is informed by the Shared Center System—the science of how partners move and connect. His approach emphasizes the techniques that make social dancing work: moving well on your own so you can move well together, sharing weight, communicating through lead and follow, and creating a comfortable, responsive connection.

The class is beginner-friendly, while giving experienced dancers plenty to explore as well.

Come solo or with a partner—everyone is welcome!
